Europe

Europe may be one of the smallest continents by size, but it is the second most densely populated. One thing that sets it apart from other regions is that it contains both the smallest country, as well as the largest country in the world. It has also featured prominently in history. There are many ancient structures and cosy old towns to be found there today. It’s also one of the easiest continents to travel. Bus, train and plane connections are excellent and English has official status in many European countries.

Depending on who you ask, Europe can be separated into anything from 4 to 6 regions. For the sake of simplicity, I’m going to use the UN classification that includes 4 subregions; Northern, Western, Eastern and Southern. I’ve managed to make it to 21 of the 50 countries in the area and had some amazing adventures. If there’s no link for the country you’re interested in, please come back and check later.
