The plan is to visit all UN recognised countries by 2026. Some ‘unrecognised’ territories, colonies, dependencies and protectorates have been stumbled into along the way.
At the moment, if a place has its own currency and passport, it’s being counted as a country, even though it may not be officially recognised as such. That means the K-in-Motion list is a little longer than the UN one.
